Head coaching requirements by AIA and Tuba City Unified School District are as follows:
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate and NFHS fundamentals course certificate or take the 3 NFHS courses that have been set by the AIA for head coaching.
All coaches must take and pass the NFHS Fundamentals course to coach at the High School level in the State of Arizona.
Tuba City Unified School District requires a current State fingerprint clearance card be on file with the District Office - Hurman Resources Department before processing application.
All applicants interested in applying for coaching positions or Event Staff/Crowd Control may submit an application at the Tuba City Unified School District Human Resources Office or Tuba City High School Athletic Department.
Applicants must submit a completed Job Application and current Resume. All Certificated positions require current Arizona Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one. All others must submit a copy of HS Diploma and/or College Transcripts, three most recent Letters of Reference or Recommendation, Vocational/Trade School Certificates relative to position applying for. Teacher Aides and Tutors require an AA degree; at least 60 Semester hours or show proof of Paraprofessional Certificate. Applicants claiming Indian preference in employment shall provide proof of tribal membership. All positions are to be filled ASAP.
