Honoring Native American Heritage Month

TCUSD Family,

November is Native American Heritage Month, an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, languages, and contributions of Native American peoples, including the Diné and Hopi communities we serve.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and for the knowledge, experiences, and traditions our students, families, staff, and elders share with our schools. Thank you to those who help pass languages, cultural knowledge, and traditions from one generation to the next.

As we recognize this month, let’s continue making our schools places where every kiddo feels valued, respected, and proud of who they are. That commitment matters every day, throughout the year.

Thank you for all you do for our kiddos and for making TCUSD a community we can be proud of.

Stronger Together,

Scott Nedrow
