Friday, October 2nd, is National Custodian Appreciation Day
Good morning, TCUSD Family,
I wanted to send this out a little early because Friday, October 2, is National Custodian Appreciation Day, and I want to make sure we take the opportunity to recognize the incredible custodians across TCUSD. Our custodians are some of the people who quietly make our schools work every single day. They keep our buildings clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff, but what they bring to our schools goes far beyond that.
They build relationships with our students. They help our staff. They solve problems. They step up when something needs to be done. Most importantly, they are an important part of each school family. As we head toward Friday, I encourage each of our schools and departments to find a way to let our custodians know how much we appreciate them. It doesn't have to be anything big. A simple thank you can mean a lot.
To our custodial team, thank you for taking care of our schools and the people inside them. We see you, we appreciate you, and your work matters!
