Celebrating National School Lunch Week!

Good morning, TCUSD Family!
Happy Monday, Warriors!
This week, October 12–16, we celebrate National School Lunch Week, and I want to take a moment to recognize some special people across our district!
Our Food Services team and cafeteria staff do so much more than prepare and serve meals. They show up early, work hard behind the scenes, greet our students with smiles, and make sure our students have the nutrition they need to get through the school day.
And I'll tell you something I've always believed: We have to Maslow before we can Bloom!
We can't expect students to be at their best academically if their basic needs aren't being met. A nutritious meal, a welcoming smile, and someone who genuinely cares can make a bigger difference in a student's day than we sometimes realize.
To our entire TCUSD Food Services team, THANK YOU! Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, and the pride you take in serving our students every single day. Your work matters, and I hope you know how much you are appreciated!
I also encourage everyone to take a minute this week to stop by your cafeteria and thank these amazing people. Sometimes a simple thank-you goes a long way!
It takes all of us to make a difference, and every role in our district matters. That's what being ONE TEAM is all about!
Have a great week, Warriors!
